This is a classic fish(tilapia) stew ideal stew for everyday use.
5 teaspoons Vegetable oil
2 medium Onions peeled and chopped
Freshly blended Tomatoes and pepper
Seasoning (¹ cube)
2 teaspoons of Tomato paste
Freshly grounded garlic, ginger and onion
Marinate the fish with the freshly grounded garlic, ginger and onion for 30 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Heat your vegetable oil in a cooking bowl and add a medium sized chopped onion. Stir for about 2 minutes.
Pour your freshly blended tomatoes and pepper next and add two tablespoons of tomato paste. Leave to boil for 5 minutes then 1 cube of seasoning.
Put the marinated fish into the stew one after the other, add a pinch of salt and cover the cooking bowl. Cook under low heat for approximately half an hour. Stir intermittently.
Your fisherman’s stew is ready!!!
Can be served with rice, yam, potato, etc
